Was at a concert in the Hirschen last night, unfortunately it took a long time until the food (Flammenwaie) came and was then cold or not fully baked. I have the feeling that the organization is not really working out yet or that you should be prepared for cold food at events because you can prepare it, e.g. B. Sausage salad. Otherwise a very nice restaurant with a nice ambience, maybe a little too expensive for what is offered in terms of food. Ch. Herberg

Dinner in the Hirschengarten A very special kind of pleasure ... in every respect. The ambience inside and outside invites you to relax. The grandiose beef fillet and the pink roasted veal saddle were the culinary highlight of the evening. Many thanks at this point to the very courteous service team, we felt very comfortable. We would love to come back.

My wife and I wanted to treat ourselves to something special and signed up for lunch on a Sunday. We received a very friendly welcome, the food and service was excellent.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful evening there yesterday. Great historical building with a garden that has been renovated with great attention to detail. The dishes and service were excellent and worth every euro. Every course was something special. From greetings from the kitchen to salads, starters, main courses and desserts to a small cheese platter. The high-quality and predominantly regional basic products could be tasted individually, despite the sensational composition of the aromas. It was a pleasure and we were served very attentively and nicely. We will definitely come back again.

Very nice garden, food good but not outstanding. Waiting times too long (salad, main course, ice cream over 3 hours).

We weren't satisfied at all. The folded cloth napkins were dusty and the service was very unfriendly. Children don't like them either, which was why we got up and left before dinner. We go out to eat very often and we know it that there is either a table or a shelf with children's books or little things to play with. If such a thing is not available, the waitress usually brings the children something to paint. In this restaurant, however, we experienced something completely different. We just got in and the service was very rude and gave us a few not at all nice looks. We were served quickly and immediately after ordering the drinks with a very derogatory emphasis on making sure that our children should be quiet. There were only four tables occupied and quite loud, our children were really very good and quieter than some adults in this restaurant. I also said: "You are nice and our table is quieter than other tables without children". Their answer was that they care about it in their restaurant. There was a short exchange of words and for us there was no longer any reason to sit down. We paid for our drinks and left. The service, as we noticed, was more than right. This restaurant is not suitable for families who would like to go out to eat with their children.

Child-unfriendly - Our children were calm, but were asked to pay attention to the volume of the children. The boss came to discuss. Then paid without eating and left again. I don't feel comfortable here. Not suitable for families with children.

I tested the menu very intensively. I'm totally thrilled 🤩. Many flavors tasted harmonious. Very friendly staff. Gladly again in April when I'm around.

The restaurant had a selection of memes. The food of my choice did not at all taste good. (this is just my taste) but the service was perfect.

Wonderful addition to the restaurant scene in the region. Refreshing young team with a great customer service attitude. Food is delicious too and the portions still generously sized. Wine prices are bit on the high side (too Swiss 😉 ) definitely one of my new to go places when in this region

Very nice food and lovely atmosphere and staff, but you need time - it takes a lot of time between the courses or it was just the day we were there and that we were a group of 10 or 12.

The food tasted to me, honestly "said", only mediocre. I have already fed much better in other restaurants. The ambiance is however excellent and very stylish. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable. But jomei, the food is the most important thing, so: good three stars from me. Of course, in order to honor the truth, I do not want to conceal the fact that my relatives were "blown away" by the exquisite food.

The deer in Haltingen is an inn with a long tradition. For a while, it looked like the days of the beautiful inn with a great garden were numbered. Today, the deer has arrived after intensive renovation in today without losing the charm. Fortunately, there are investors who are concerned with the matter and not just the money. We went to one of the garden summer events and I have to say it was really great. The garden with the old coach house is very well done. Haltingen has good Gastrobetrieb and with the deer again a more ..... However, the kitchen in the restaurant at the food left a lot to be desired ... Unfortunately. !!!

Very nice staff which is also on Zack. Food tastes very good and is of the best quality. Very comfortable. Also has a fine selection of wines.

Great service and a very nice, stylish location! We celebrated our wedding in the Hirschen. The blue salon is a gem, the operators responded to all of our requests and were very accommodating. The aperitif was served in the picturesque terrace garden, which is also ideal for a few photos. The service and the food were perfect! We felt very comfortable.

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times. We have had dinner inside the main room as well as outside in their beautiful garden. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside. The service is also excellent. We truly love this place. It is truly a hidden jewel of a restaurant and one of my favorite ones in this area. We will definitely continue to come back!

Very friendly staff and super good food! Especially the garden invites you to linger. But there is also a very harmonious atmosphere in the restaurant. (The pictures were taken at half past 11 in the evening, it is advisable to reserve)

A hidden gem. Wonderful food, extraordinary service. Seasonal dishes and great prices. Can hardly wait to go back. If you have allergies just tell them and you can rest assured they will take care of you. A wonderful garden for summer dining and indoor dining that is casual chic. Highly recommend it. Try it and you will love it.
